Chicks with Picks Melbourne is a community of women who study guitar & ukulele with teacher, performer & songwriter, Helen Begley in classes all over Melbourne. They are sometimes joined by MOMMA, the men’s off-shoot of Chicks with Picks Melbourne. They get together for festivals and special occasions to showcase what they’ve learned. Repertoire includes well-known and not so well known songs with fun arrangements for guitar, all the ukuleles and voice. They encourage participation, so bring your Ukes to play-along!
