We are The BAUG!
Yes, members from six – yes six! – classes at Bennettswood Neighbourhood House and the Ashburton Community Centre have combined to bring you a supergroup – in more ways than one! Players of all levels of expertise will delight you, get your toes tapping and have you wanting to join in as they present songs you know – and some you thought you knew, often with two and three part harmony, adding riffs, twiddles, bass and occasionally throwing in extra percussion.
We love a good singalong and if we can get the audience involved, all the better! Age is no barrier to having fun with ukulele so we have a wonderful, diverse group who love to show the versatility of the ukulele. We’ll bring you music, colour and laughter – and a hopefully a desire to join in if you’ve never played before.
